(DEKALB COUNTY) – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident on the highway.
Deputies say a Kraft Moving Services Inc. box truck ran off of I-69 in the northbound lanes near the 324.5 mile marker. It hit an Auburn exit sign and the box detached from the truck.
The reason why the truck left the roadway is unknown because the driver and another employee fled the scene.
The northbound lanes were shut down briefly while the wreckage was removed.
