(LAGRANGE) – The Town of LaGrange is beginning to search for a Fire Chief.
During Monday’s LaGrange Town Council meeting, Councilman Joshua Shotzman shared information on the contract for LaGrange Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jeremy Edwards. LINKC.

The motion was approved unanimously.
The Council felt that they should post the position to allow others on the Department to apply for the position. Edwards can reapply for the position if he desires to, and the Council could reappoint him if they find him to be the most qualified and best fit for the job.
The Council has posted the Fire Chief position and will accept applications until December 16 at 4:30 PM.
Edwards has been the LaGrange Fire Chief since September 2022, after serving many years as a volunteer fire fighter.
