LaGrange County Chamber Names 2025 Legacy Award Finalists

(LAGRANGE) - The LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the finalists for the 2025 Legacy Awards.

These prestigious awards honor the businesses, organizations, and individuals whose efforts have made a lasting, positive impact on the LaGrange County community through leadership, innovation, and service.

The finalists for this year’s award are for Non-Profit of the Year: The LaGrange County Council on Aging and LCAT; Tri-Kappa; Main Street LaGrange and Coffee and Cream of South Milford.

For Small Business of the Year: Foltz Bakery; Destination 814 and Music’s Heating & Cooling. For the Large Business of the Year award, the finalists are Blue Gate Hospitality; J.O. Mory and LigTel Communication.

The finalists for Educator of the Year are Kurt Stump of Westview; Billie Loraine of Lakeland and Mike Schmidt of Prairie Heights.

The Professional of the Year finalists are Sonya Nash; Dr. Traci Blaize and Joe Urbanski. The finalists for Young Professional of the Year are Cole Alber; Jessica Bratt and Emilee Buller.

The winners of the 2025 Legacy Awards will be announced during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on January 9th at the Blue Gate Garden Inn. This event will bring together business leaders, community members, and stakeholders to recognize excellence, celebrate accomplishments, and chart a vision for the future of LaGrange County.
