Fountain City Christian Boys Varsity Takes Tough Road Loss

The Fountain City Christian Flames boys varsity basketball team dropped to 7-16 on the year with a tough 51-60 loss at the Horizon Science Academy in Toledo. Roman Sutton led the Flames with 15 points and guards Noah Johnson and Daniel Cantu chipped in 7 each. For the Jaguars, Terrell Kizer led all scorers with 23.

In the junior high boys game, the Flames finished with a 38-28 win to finish 12-3 on the season.

The varsity boys finish their season this Saturday, February 24th, at the Harlan Hawks Invitational Tournament in Harlan, IN. The Flames' first game will start at 9 AM against the host Hawks. The Flames next game will be at 11 AM against the Angola Warriors. In the 3 team, round-robin format, the bet record will claim the championship trophy.
