ORLAND - The Prairie Heights 12U All-Star baseball team became champions of the 2023 Vermont Settlement Festival's 12U Baseball Tournament on Sunday, July 30.
The Prairie Heights Panthers went 2-1 in the pool-play leading up to the championship.
They first shutout Quincy 19-0 and then beat Four County 11-7.
But the team fell one run short to Angola who defeated the Panthers 5-4.
During Sunday's tournament championship games Prairie Heights eliminated Four County, 9-5, and ultimately defeated Angola, 11-4, to become the 2023 Champions.
