(WOLCOTTVILLE) – The deaths of three Wolcottville children is being ruled as a homicide.
Noble County Coroner Lisa Strebig issued the ruling after doing autopsies on the children and an adult woman who all died from gas asphyxiation.
On September 17, Wolcottville Police were sent to a home in the 100 block of South Main Street to do a welfare check. While doing their investigation, officers found 32 year old Rebecca Hughes, along with her three daughters; 8 year old Evelyn Newell, 6 year old Allison Newell and 5 year old Amelia Newell dead inside the house.
