(DEKALB COUNTY) – A woman was injured in an accident Friday morning.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 22 year old Zee Riley of Fort Wayne was driving north in the 3800 block of State Road 327 at 9:30 AM in a FedEx truck which went off the right side of the road. Riley over-corrected to the left, causing the vehicle to skid and slide off the road, coming to rest on its passenger side in a cornfield.
Riley complained of back pain and was taken to Parkview DeKalb Hospital for treatment. The FedEx truck is considered a total loss.
Assisting at the scene were the Corunna Fire Department and the Indiana State Police.
