Indiana’s Emergency Order Extended
Monday, November 29, 2021

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indiana Lawmakers couldn’t agree on how to proceed in a special session to address limiting vaccine mandates in private businesses.

Governor Eric Holcomb decided to extend the state’s COVID emergency order into the new year.

Governor Holcomb stressed that the order is the reason Indiana has been able to keep the virus from adversely affecting thousands of Hoosiers, and also allowed many children ages 5-to-11 vaccinated.

He says he looks forward to discussing ending the order with state lawmakers during the legislative session in January.
