Quincy Superintendent Marc Kramer shared with the Board of Education what steps are being taken to fill Wright's position. Kramer says there are some internal candidates and they have been contacted by other principals in the area interested in the job as well.
Wright attended the virtual meeting and thanked the Quincy School District and the leadership team for giving him the chance to serve as the High School Principal. He is glad that they worked together to help the District grow.
Wright shared that he will be going to work for the Michigan Department of Corrections. His last day with Quincy Schools will be January 22. The Board of Education also accepted the resignations of Sara Wood as Middle School Para-Professional and Michael Bean as a Custodian.
