(LAGRANGE) – A traffic stop lead to the arrest of a LaGrange man on multiple charges.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several traffic infractions at 420 South Detroit Street at 6 PM Tuesday. During the investigation, deputies discovered that the driver, 34 year old Blake Leiter of LaGrange, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation revealed that he was also in possession of suspected marijuana.

Leiter was taken to the LaGrange County Jail for further testing, which resulted in his arrest for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

The matter is being forwarded to the LaGrange County Prosecutor's Office for review and consideration of these charges.
