ANGOLA, IN - The Angola Board of Public Works and Safety discussed the potential of subdividing a property.

The Board addressed a request from Greg Baird to subdivide his property at 800 Butler Street. Baird is planning construction of a home on the property and is looking to connect a driveway to the end of Thomas Drive. The Board decided to table discussion until the Plan Commission has made a ruling on the subdivision of the property before making any decisions on allowing for the connected driveway.

The board also approved the appointment of Christopher Greuter to the Angola Fire Department as a probationary firefighter. Greuter will begin working the C shift on Wednesday mornings.

The next Angola Board of Public Works and Safety will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
