ANGOLA, IN - The roadway on Angola’s monument square with be shut down later this week.

The Steuben County Commissioners have maintenance scheduled on the Soldier’s Monument in Angola for Friday, August, 7th. The work with run between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. During this time, absolutely no traffic will be permitted into the monument area and the roads will be barricaded.

County officials have worked in conjunction with the City of Angola, to map out a detour for truck traffic on US 20. Local traffic using US 20, North or South Wayne Streets, may use alternative routes to avoid the Soldier’s Monument.
