Parade in Kunkle Cancelled
Thursday, July 2, 2020

KUNKLE, OH - The Kunkle Fourth of July parade has been canceled.

Annually, the parade is one of the biggest in Williams County. The yearly event increases the town’s population from 308 to around 1,000 during the parade.

Because of historically high attendance organizers say that played a part in canceling the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There is not a make-up day for the event.

iSome 250 Port-a-Pit chicken dinners, already sold, will still be available for pick-up.

Kunkle now joins communities across the state that have postponed or canceled Independence Day events Due in large part to the coronavirus.
