The MSD Board of School Trustees gathered via Zoom to approve applications for several grants.
The Council approved an ordinance establishing paid leave under the Federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act and also approved zoning maps along East Maumee Street as well as on North Wayne Street for the vacant lot next to Meijer. Council approved the deduction from assessed valuation for the installation of new manufacturing equipment and new logistical distribution equipment and the redevelopment or rehabilitation of real estate improvements.
Council also approved the fee-for-service contract with the Steuben County Economic Development Corporation of $59,430. Council also approved a rate adjustment of 1.31% from Republic Services on the Municipal Solid Waste and Recycling Material contract.
The Angola Common Council will hold their next meeting on Monday June 15.
