COLDWATER, MI - An inmate at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Michigan Department of Corrections announced on their website that the Lakeland inmate that tested positive is being isolated.
That is one of seven inmates around Michigan that had positive tests for COVID-19. Four are at the Parnall Correctional Facility in Jackson, while the other two are at facilities in the Upper Peninsula.
The Department of Corrections says a probation officer in Jackson County has also tested positive for COVID-19.
