On Tuesday at around 10:30 A.M. in the 4200 block of County Road 68 in DeKalb County, a 2006 Chevrolet Impala was heading west bound. It is there that the driver, 19-year-old Lukas Wyss of Auburn advised the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office and other safety personel that he fell asleep and that is when his vehicle went off the roadway and head on with a tree.
Wyss was transported to the hospital by Parkview EMS as he complained of leg and head pain, and his vehicle was considered totaled.
Assisting at the scene were Parkview EMS, as well as the Jackson Township Fire Department.
