Monday, January 27, 2020

Roughly thirty students from both the middle school and high school theatre programs at Prairie Heights were delegates at the Indiana State Thespians Conference held over the weekend.

Students from across the state shared their theatre experiences, attended seminars, and even competed in multiple competitions. The Prairie Heights High School Tech Olympics teams brought in 13 of 19 awards at this year's state conference.

High school students Jodi Scofield and Madelyn Wylie won 3rd in legging a platform. The pair also competed with two other classmates, where they won second in folding a backdrop.

The overall technical team award went to seniors Holden Frazier, Gabriel Reed, Carver Teller, and Grant Teller.

In addition, several panther thespians also received honors in group and individual acting monologues/scenes.
