Nobody was injured when a car struck a Coldwater School bus Monday afternoon.

Coldwater Director Of Public Safety Joe Scheid says at 4:10 Monday afternoon, a car went through the stop sign at the intersection of Perkins and Elm Street, and struck the right front tire of the bus.

There were approximately 20 elementary school children on the bus at the time of the incident. The Coldwater Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance were sent to the scene, but there were no injuries.

Scheid says some parents who lived nearby took their children home. The bus was able to finish its route. The driver of the car was given a citation.
