An Edon man accused of vehicular homicide plead guilty in a Williams County courtroom. John Smith entered his plea in connection to a fatal crash last year. Sentencing on the case is scheduled for October 29th. Smith is currently being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
Prosecutors say Smith was operating a vehicle under the influence, when his pickup collided head-on with another vehicle on U.S. 20, near Ohio 49, in northwest Williams County.
The driver of the other vehicle, David Williams and his passenger, Roberta Williams, both from Edgerton, were killed in the crash.
