A small plane went down in a field in southern Allen county on Friday afternoon.

The SR22 single engine air craft parachuted to an emergency landing with two passengers. After taking off in Virginia, the plane's pilot a female made a stop in Ohio to tend to mechanical problems that were considered fixed. The aircraft was headed to South Bend and radioed Fort Wayne International Airport for help around 4 P.M. The pilot and passenger received minor injuries but were seen walking around the plane after the crash.
