Regular traffic will see a closure in Commercial Historic Downtown Angola on Wednesday beginning at 4 P.M. for the annual "Cruise to the Monument" event.

Cars will be detoured around the historic district at that time, and Downtown Angola will have “No Parking” signs posted throughout the downtown to help clear the area for the event. Prior to 4:00 P.M., downtown customers may park in the downtown but cars still in the area at and after 4 will not be able to move until the end of the event, between 8 and 9 P.M.

The city of Angola hopes that downtown businesses will be able to take advantage of the crowds and stay open for a bit of that evening while the event takes place.
