(COLDWATER) – The Coldwater bowling teams hosted the first annual Coldwater Singles Tournament on Sunday. In the girls division, Coldwater’s Kylie Cook and Ashlyn Cleckner made the cut and moved on to the stepladder finals. In the quarterfinals, Cook and Cleckner faced off with Cleckner winning 294-264. In the semifinals, Cleckner lost to Summer Stone of Marshall 340-277. Cleckner finished third overall and Cook finished sixth. In the boys part of the tournament, Coldwater’s Vinnie Beekman finished second in the qualifying round, and received an opening round bye. He faced Drew McConn of Bronson in the semifinals and lost 414-392. Beekman finished in third place overall, while McConn won the boys championship.
