ANGOLA - The Angola Hornets nailed down an important NECC win in a 39-6 Homecoming victory over Fairfield Friday night.

Andre Tagliaferri was named the WLKI David E. Ballinger player of the game award sponsored by Farmers State Bank. He was a big part of the powerful force shown by the Angola Hornets Friday as they held the Fairfield Falcons to only three first downs and allowing no scoring until the last second of the game. Tagliaferri dominated on both offense and defense.
