(BRONSON) – A long time Bronson organization is shutting down a portion of their outreach.
In a posting on their Facebook page, the Bronson Area Youth Program has announced that they are sadly closing the doors of the Bronson Youth Center After School and Summer Programs effective immediately, after 27 years of service to the Bronson Community.
Board members say this decision wasn't made easily as they have happily worked hard all these years to seek funding and to secure quality employees. In addition, they have had over 30 different board members and many of the current board members have served for over 20 years.
The Board says they have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of students offering them a safe atmosphere for the After school and Summer Programs.
The Board would like to say Thank You to the Bronson Community Schools administration and staff; The City of Bronson; Branch County United Way; Branch County Community Foundation; local businesses; service groups and the countless individuals who have supported them financially and given them moral support over the last 27 years.
The Board would also like to thank their employees and volunteers, saying it has taken everyone to make it work for so long.
