(LAGRANGE) – A member of the Lakeland School Corporation will be retiring at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
Brad Jones has announced that he will be retiring as Principal of Lakeland Intermediate School after three years. Jones has been in education for 30 years.
Jones says in retirement, he plans to take time for himself. He says education is a place where we give to others all the time. Jones says he plans to fish a lot and take up golf.
With Jones’ retirement, Lakeland has promoted current Assistant Principal Andrew Barrand to Principal, effective immediately after the 2024-2025 school year. Jones says Andrew will be a great instructional leader, and his excitement and passion for learning, along with the LIS educational staff, will continue to help the students move forward.
