(FORT WAYNE) – An Angola man has been sentenced on child pornography charges.

U.S. District Court online court records show that 46 year old Brian Ray was sentenced to 16 years in prison, following his pleading guilty to a charge of distributing child sexual abuse material.

Ray will also be given 10 years of supervised release following his time in prison.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, along with the Angola and Ashley Police Departments, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana State Police investigated the matter.

Ray was arrested for distributing images of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct between March and April 2023.
