(DEKALB COUNTY) – Two Kendallville men were involved in a two vehicle crash in Northeast Indiana.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says 29 year old Taylor Vandyke was driving south on County Road 11 near the intersection of County Road 32 at 5:18 Tuesday morning. 66 year old Paul Gillison was stopped at the intersection and then pulled out in front of Vandyke’s auto.

Vandyke struck Gillison’s vehicle on the driver’s side. In the crash, Vandyke was ejected from his automobile.

Vandyke was taken to a Parkview area hospital to be treated for lacerations. Gillison was not injured.

Garrett Police, the Corunna Fire Department and Parkview EMS assisted at the scene.
