(COLDWATER) – A LaGrange, Indiana man has entered into a plea agreement on alleged criminal sexual conduct charges against children starting in 2008.
Branch County Circuit Court online records show that 54 year old David Michael Miller, formerly of Coldwater, plead no contest to two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, along with charges of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct and gross indecency between males.
With the plea agreement, the Branch County Prosecutor’s Office dismissed another case file with five other charges.
Miller, who is also known as Michael Robert Rottenstein, was arrested following an investigation by the Michigan State Police. Online court documents show that the two victims were either 11 or 12 when the incidents started. They told troopers that there were many coerced sexual acts by Miller that happened in both Indiana and Ohio.
Miller is scheduled to be sentenced March 17. According to the plea agreement, Miller could be getting concurrent sentences of 75 months to 15 years on the third degree CSC charges; 39 months to 5 years on the gross indecency charge and 16 months to 2 years on the fourth degree CSC.
