(COLDWATER) – Chip sealing projects are set to start on Monday around the City of Coldwater.
City officials announced on their Facebook page that weather permitting, the Branch County Road Commission will be chip sealing four areas around Coldwater.
Crews will be doing Industrial Avenue; Race Street between Butters Avenue and Walnut Street; Hillside Drive and Jay Street south of West Pearl Street.
The post says traffic will be reduced to one lane on Jay Street, south of Garfield Avenue. All of the other streets will not be accessible for a short time. Drivers are being asked to pay attention to flaggers and exercise caution with loose stones.
Work is expected to be completed between 6:30 AM and 12 PM. The project will cost $71,700.
