DEKALB COUNTY - In DeKalb County, a woman was in the hospital after getting rear ended.

Angel Loy, age 39, of Grabill, tells officers she was at a stop sig at the County Road 17 and U.S. 6 intersection when another the vehicle couldn’t stop. The collision reportedly happened because of bad brakes.

Loy was in fair condition after experiencing head, neck and knee pain.

In a separate accident, a 58-year-old woman is taken to an area hospital…after pulling in front of a vehicle while making a left turn at County Road 72 and Tonkel Road, in DeKalb County.

Rebecca Minster, age 58 of Auburn, was in fair condition with head, neck and chest pain.
