Steuben County - The Steuben County Courthouse will continue several pre-existing orders from the Indiana Supreme Court.
COVID-19 screening procedures at the front door of the courthouse will continue and masking and social distancing will remain in practice. Entry of family or other support individuals is prohibited except as permitted by the presiding Judge in a specific case upon request.
All subject to foregoing conditions, potential witnesses may enter as necessary without permission of the presiding judge, members of the press may continue to enter at any time and victims as identified in criminal proceedings may enter. Prisoners will continue to appear by video unless otherwise permitted.
This applies to entry and public spaces within the courthouse and any other space in which staff interact directly with the public.
