From photography and paintings to sculptures and multimedia, from glitter to grunge, artists of all mediums are invited to enter their creative pieces in Arts Alive's upcoming gallery exhibits at Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater! Artists at any skill level and working with any medium may enter up to three pieces per show at $5.00 per submission. Paintings, photographs, and drawings should be ready to hang using hanging wire. Entries will be eligible for People's Choice cash prizes and may be sold on commission with the artist's permission. Artists should drop off all pieces at Tibbits' Administration Office at 93 W. Chicago Street in downtown Coldwater, Michigan. Here are the 2024 shows and dates:


"Into the Woods" March 5th - April 29th.

"Kids Art Rocks!" April 30th - June 24th. This competition is open to students K-12.

"Nothing Rhymes with Orange" June 25th - July 22nd.

"Glory Days/Daze" July 23rd - September 16th.

"142 Years of Tibbits Opera House" September 17th - November 11th. This show is in honor of the 142nd Birthday of Tibbits on September 21st.

"Senior Showcase" *This private exhibit will feature artwork from Coldwater H.S. Seniors. It will show November 12th - January 3rd, 2025.


All show artwork will be displayed in the lower level art gallery at the historic Tibbits Opera House, 14 S. Hanchett Street in Coldwater.
