Monday Nov 12, 2018 12:00am
Edgerton, OH

Congratulations to the Bulldog football team for continuing to make history. The Bulldog football team has already made school history by winning the first playoff game in school history.

On Saturday's game against Pandora Gilboa, Edgerton scored the first six times it had the ball, answered its only turnover of the game by picking off a pass on the very next play. The Dogs took the prize with an overwhelming 52-8 win over Pandora-Gilboa in Saturday’s Division VII, Region 26 semifinal matchup at Defiance’s Fred J. Brown Stadium.

The Bulldogs will next play McComb on November 17th at 7 PM at Defiance High School for the regional championship. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday through Friday during regular school hours in the high school office. Presale tickets are $8 and all tickets at the gate are $9. Buying presale will provide the school with a kickback so all fans are encouraged to buy early. The gates will open at 5:30 and there is a $3 charge for parking. Per OHSAA rules, fans six and older will need to purchase a ticket and no passes will be accepted.

WLZZ, 104.5, will air the Regional Finals where Edgerton will play the McComb Panthers on Saturday 11/17/18 at 7PM at Defiance High School.

The Edgerton Football team takes a knee to pray after their win over Pandora Gilboa on Saturday 11/10/18.
