Professional Bull Riding Coming to Northeast Indiana Location
Saturday Mar 10, 2018 6:51am
Shipshewana, IN

By: Tim Murray

The Michiana Event Center is bringing top level national bull riding to Shipshewana.

This Professional Bull Riders event, the PBR Memorial Day Weekend Bull Fest, will be held in the 3,600-seat coliseum on the south edge of Shipshewana on Memorial Day weekend.

MEC General Manager Jeff Fought says “Bringing PBR to our new facility in Shipshewana has been a dream and goal since this venture started. We know people in the surrounding area love rodeos, so our vision has been to bring a higher level of performance to allow most people to experience rodeo like they haven’t seen before. Nobody sanctions bull riding like PBR, and you only have to watch it once to understand the difference.”

Riders will be coming from across the nation to compete for big money and earn valuable series points. The Bull Fest will feature a massive jumbotron with instant replay, spotlights and even fireworks.

The performance gets underway each night at 7:30, on Friday May 25th and Saturday, May 26th. Tickets start at $19.95 and go on sale this Friday, March 9th at 10:00 AM and may be purchased at michianaevents.com, by calling the MEC box office at 260-768-4990 or in person at the Blue Gate Box Office.
