Noble County's second Superior Court has a new judge.
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb on Tuesday appointed Steven Hagen to replace retiring judge Michael Kramer.
Hagen has a long career as an attorney in Noble County. It includes deputy prosecutor, Ligonier city attorney, Albion, Avilla and Cromwell town attorney, and attorney for Central Noble Schools, Noble County Redevelopment Commission, Kendallville Housing Authority, and Noble County Library.
Hagen is a past president of the Noble County Bar Association and is currently president of the Noble County Public Defender Board.
A date for his swearing-in remains to be determined.
