A grant from the LaGrange County REMC will soon go to benefit dancers as well as the theatre program at Prairie Heights High School. Through the work of coach and choreographer Samantha Stanford, the programs will soon be the owners of mirrors on wheels to use during rehearsals.


According to Stanford, the mirrors will be used in practice spaces which often include the cafeteria, gymnasium and auditorium stage to help the dancers and performers critique themselves and for instructors to see if they’re catching on.


The grant comes from Operation Round Up that is made possible by participating members, totaling nearly 70% of consumers who choose to round up their bill to the nearest dollar each month.
