Man Back in Steuben to Face Charges

A Hudson native was extradited from St. Joseph County, Michigan, to hear numerous charges pending against him in Steuben County. James D. Lipscomb, 33, of Hudson, was arrested Monday on a Governor’s Warrant issued April 22nd by Steuben County Prosecutor Jeremy Musser.

Two cases have been filed against Lipscomb, including failure to return to lawful detention. Lipscomb was supposed to serve a year and a half sentence starting November 1st however did not report to the Steuben County jail as directed.

Additionally he faces three Level 5 felonies including possession of methamphetamine while being in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with a prior felony conviction, and possession of a handgun without a license following a felony conviction within the last 15 years.
