BRONSON, MI - An area school has been placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon.

Bronson Administration informed parents and the public they are currently investigating a potential threat against Bronson Jr/Sr High school. Because of this, students and staff have been placed in a ‘soft’ lockdown following outside threat procedures.

Statements from the school assured that the safety of both students and staff is of the “utmost importance” and school officials are working diligently to resolve this situation in a timely manner. Additional updates will be given on their Facebook page as more information becomes available.

School officials at Bronson are reminding parents during this type of procedure, students may not be released to leave the building and no one will be permitted to enter the facility.
