DEKALB COUNTY - 62-year-old William Modzelewski of Wyandotte, MI was traveling southbound on Interstate 69 when his vehicle ran off the roadway for an unknown reason.  

The vehicle traveled through the median without striking the cable barrier, then traveled through the impact barrels in front of the County Road 28 overpass bridge support and impacted the bridge support head-on.  Modzelewski was trapped in the cab of the semi.  He was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries sustained from the impact.
