It will remain hot and humid these next few days.

The National Weather Service says the heat index will rise into the mid-90’s by Friday and Saturday.

Temperatures today will teeter on the 90 mark with an expected high of 89, and a low of 66. It’s going to be dry and hot through the holiday weekend.

Remember: never leave children or pets in a hot car. “Beat the heat, check the backseat!”
