Free Pasta Dinners At The Monument was the main attraction this past Friday in Downtown Angola where the Angola Middle School, along with Sutton's Deli, Monument Pizza, and Joe Hysong helped in making over 200 family size pasta dinners available for free to the public to drive by and pick-up. The event was a great success and saw the meals picked up and gone in less than 45 minutes.
So much of a success that Hysong says that they are not done yet, at least for anytime soon.
This coming Friday, April 3rd beginning at 4 P.M. another 200 meals will be available for pick-up, as Hysong advised those who are interested in picking up a meal they better do so quick because of how quick the last allotment was taken. Hysong reiterated many times that the goal of these events are to be able to make sure that the area community is taken care of.
Hysong says these events will continue for the foreseeable future until the coronavirus pandemic begins to taper off.
