WARSAW, IN – A 12-year-old boy who was the subject of a Silver Alert Thursday has been found dead.

Officers used drones, dogs and ATV’s in the search of the Sellers Lake area for Ayden Elijah Adee who was reported missing from Warsaw. He was found after noon in a heavily wooded area near his home.

Police have not said how the boy died, but said on Thursday he may have had a .40 caliber handgun. They expect to release the cause of death this afternoon.

Adee was a student in Whitko Community Schools.
