It was a less than desirable night in Tulsa, Oklahoma for Angola, Indiana dirt track star Zeb Wise. While Wise did qualify for the Tuesday night Main Event as part of the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, the end result will add extra work for him later this week.
With a night that was proving to potentially end well, Wise suffered a flat right rear tire while running fifth in the late stages. The flat tire relegated Wise to end his night early, ending with a 23rd place finish.
Wise will have to run a series of preliminary events early Saturday afternoon if he hopes to make the Saturday Night Main Event.
