The Indiana Department of Education released its school transfer report Wednesday in which the state tallies the number of students living in a district who attend school in a different district.
It indicated that Prairie Heights went from a net loss of 53 students a year ago to a net gain of 55 this year. Prairie Heights has a total of 170 children who live in the district attending elsewhere with 225 transfers into the district for a net gain of 55. Most of those outbound students attend the MSD of Steuben County, East Noble or Fremont.
