Wet weather took over the tri-state region on Monday Night and early Tuesday Morning, leaving soggy conditions across the area. Craig Williams at Angola Wastewater Treatment reported a total of 2.98 inches of rain over the rainfall period thus bringing a concern for minor flooding in sewer overflow.
A small chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast for this afternoon and evening and while locally heavy rain is possible, severe weather is not expected. The chance for thunderstorms will remain in the forecast as well for Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
